Your Account

If you want potential clients to find you when searching for a Personal Trainer, you need to create an account and set your profile as a PT. Fill in all of the relevant information such as your bio and contact information. Then you can purchase listing time on the I am a PT page for how long you want to appear on the site. Keep topping up your listing time as much and as often as you like and the time will be added on to your account. Be aware that any changes to the PT fields in your profile require an administrator to check them before your profile will appear in search listings.

Firstly, create a login account on the Login page. Then go to the I want a PT page and either use your postcode or your current GPS location (if available) to list any Personal Trainers in that area. You can adjust the distance from you and their rate to narrow down your searches. You can unlock the contact details from PTs that interest you by purchasing credits near the bottom of that page. A list of unlocked PT contact information will be available by clicking the “PT Contacts” button at the top.

Whenever you place an order you will be sent an email with the details. You can also find a list of your orders at the bottom of the “Edit Profile” page.

We use Stripe to take online payments. They are a globally trusted payment system used by organisations like Amazon, Zoom, RiverIsland, Canva, Deliveroo, Lyft, Kickstarter, PepsiCo, Hertz… and millions more. You do not need an account with Stripe to pay via credit or debit card, so it is quick, convenient and secure.

You can request a new password on the Login page. This will send a new password to the registered email address you used for your account. Be aware that if you enter your password incorrectly 3 times, it will lock you out for 30 minutes from your last attempt before you can try again.

Yes. The PETEY website passes SSL security tests with “grade A” status. All communication between the visitor’s web browser and our server is encrypted (SHA256withRSA) – similar to that used by banking websites. We only collect the minimum amount of personal information needed if you choose to create an account, and never ask for, or store, any payment details ourselves.
